October is here (already) with its own unique set of garden chores. One of the best sources of information about gardens is the nation’s Extension Offices.
To find the horticulture website of your local Extension Office, go to the Cooperative Extension System’s interactive map. Select the state and county you live in.
Once at the state extension site, use the search term “monthly garden” to find information for your specific climate and terrain; look for the current month.
Print whatever is relevant and store in your garden notebook (Garden Notebook Printables).
