If you are feeling ill from the many winter ailments that float around this time of year, ask for help. Or, pull out a menu from a prior week to use.
Better still, keep a couple of “sick menus” in your binder.
Sick menus are meals that are completely planned out by you when you are well, and are to be used when you are not well. These meals should be simple, nutritious for both the healthy and sick, and easy to make. They may even include freezer meals previously prepared.
