Don’t allow procrastination, lackadaisicalness, or any thing else come between your family and good health — menu planning leads to healthy food choices and habits, and healthy food habits lead to good health insha’Allah.
And speaking of healthy habits and choices, planning snacks is a healthy food habit. Include protein-rich between meal nibbles like fruit with a side of nuts, nut butter, or home-made granola, trail mix, or protein bar.
Write snack plans on the same menu as dinner and breakfast. Everyone will know what to expect. And will have a wonderful treat to look forward to.
