winter silhouetteWe are really into winter. The air is so dry and temperatures so cold. And yet . . . our gardens still needs us believe it or not. It’s a good time to:

  • protect the compost pile from heavy rain
  • turn compost pile
  • protect the garden/landscape from wind
  • provide garden/yard sanitation
  • check stored fruits, veggies, and flower bulbs for rot and/or fungus

These are a few examples.

Also, re-read entries from last year’s garden journal to see what you did in December. And, make notes in this year’s journal as well.
